Short Biography:
I was raised in Ocala, FL and earned an undergraduate business degree from FSU in 1984. I retooled with a Emory MBA in 1989 and went on to get the CEBS designation in 1993. I gained three years experience at an Atlanta third-party administrator before starting my own insurance agency. We specialize in employee benefits and have a solid block of business with client concentrations in high-tech employers (both start-ups and mature companies), physician and law practices.
Recently, I founded QuoteJuice, Georgia’s premier health insurance exchange. QuoteJuice is a member company of Georgia Tech’s Advanced Technology Development Center. It has been a lot of fun to work through the myriad of details required to bring a successful dot com on line.
I’m married to Janet, a Denver native, and we have two wonderful children.
Interests:
In a nutshell, I love to build things. I enjoy everything entrepreneurial, the politics of health care, cross training and masters swimming at the Fowler YMCA, 3-gun competitions, and hunting.
